A crowd of onlookers gathered at the Mar Mikhael roundabout in the southern suburbs of Beirut, at the boundary between the deserted Haret Hreik neighborhood and that of Chiyah, where daily life continued as normal. Journalists set up their cameras in the zone Hezbollah had designated for them.
