Mesmo que os candidatos do LR tenham enfrentado a concorrência da extrema-direita no segundo turno nessas três eleições, isso não impediu a direita de derrotar a esquerda em uma disputa tripartite, devido à significativa transferência de votos da RN para os candidatos do LR entre os dois turnos. Not only from the US, but also from Europe'  In an interview with Le Monde, the Ukrainian president expressed concern about the consequences of the war in the Middle East on the conflict between Kyiv and Moscow. Pressured by both the Americans and the Russians to give up the Donbas, he defended the region's strategic importance and warned Europeans of the urgent need to lift the Hungarian veto on the €90 billion loan approved in 2025. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke to Le Monde in a highly secure setting at the presidential headquarters in Kyiv. The meeting took place as Russia was carrying out a large-scale campaign of strikes using hundreds of Shahed drones. Against this backdrop, the president, dressed in black, his face marked by four years of war and his gaze intense, maintained constant focus, rarely allowing any expression of relaxation to show.
