Relatório "SOB PRESSÃO" sobre a situação dos cartunistas ameaçados em todo o mundo (2023-2025) - Lançamento previsto para 2 de março de 2026!

O novo relatório sobre a situação dos cartunistas ameaçados em todo o mundo será divulgado  em 2 de março de 2026. É resultado de um esforço conjunto da  Cartooning for Peace ,  da Cartoonists Rights  e de seus parceiros:  Freedom Cartoonists Foundation ,  FORHUM , Columbia Global Freedom of Expression – Columbia University e  Repórteres Sem Fronteiras . Com base em dados coletados nos últimos dois anos pela  Cartooning for Peace  e  pela Cartoonists Rights , o relatório descreve as tendências das ameaças direcionadas a cartunistas da imprensa. Em um contexto marcado pela ascensão do autoritarismo, os casos documentados pela  Cartooning for Peace  lançam uma luz contundente sobre o estado da democracia em todo o mundo. A publicação também apresenta as conclusões de um estudo original sobre as experiências online de cartunistas da imprensa, juntamente com análises temáticas e regionais de diversos autores, incluindo Riss, diretor editorial do  Charlie Hebdo , bem como  Repórteres Sem Fronteiras ,  Artists at Risk Connection e a  Freedom Cartoonists Foundation . “O que aconteceu com a profissão de cartunista?” - Côté (Canadá)

Como ferramenta fundamental de defesa e conscientização  sobre a situação dos cartunistas ameaçados em todo o mundo , o relatório também apresenta uma série de recomendações, especialmente em resposta aos níveis de ameaça e censura enfrentados por cartunistas em plataformas digitais. Ele dá sequência ao  Relatório sobre a situação dos cartunistas ameaçados em todo o mundo: “Cartunistas na linha de frente” (2020-2022). A publicação deste relatório faz parte de um projeto apoiado pelo  Fundo Global de Defesa da Mídia (GMDF)  da  UNESCO  e pelo  CFC , que visa documentar e destacar as ameaças enfrentadas pelos cartunistas da imprensa.

O relatório será apresentado com exclusividade no  Festival Internacional de Desenho de Imprensa e Mídias ÇA PRESSE,  em Lyon,  no dia 5 de março de 2026 (em francês), na presença das  organizações Cartooning for Peace, Cartoonists Rights e Repórteres Sem Fronteiras.  Estará disponível em formato digital nos sites da  Cartooning for Peace  e  da Cartoonists Rights .

"UNDER PRESSURE" Report on the situation of threatened cartoonists worldwide (2023-2025) - Scheduled for release on March 2, 2026!  Zehra (Türkiye) The new report on the situation of threatened press cartoonists around the world will be released on March 2, 2026. It is the result of a joint effort by Cartooning for Peace, Cartoonists Rights and their partners: Freedom Cartoonists Foundation, FORHUM, Columbia Global Freedom of Expression – Columbia University, and Reporters Without Borders. Based on data collected over the past two years by Cartooning for Peace and Cartoonists Rights, the report outlines trends in threats targeting press cartoonists. In a context marked by the rise of authoritarianism, the cases documented by Cartooning for Peace cast a stark light on the state of democracy worldwide. It also presents the findings of an original study on press cartoonists’ online experiences, along with thematic and regional insights contributed by numerous authors, including Riss, publishing director of Charlie Hebdo, as well as Reporters Without Borders, Artists at Risk Connection, and the Freedom Cartoonists Foundation. “What has become of the profession of cartoonist?” - Côté (Canada) As a key advocacy and awareness-raising tool on the situation of threatened press cartoonists worldwide, the report also puts forward a series of recommendations, particularly in response to the levels of threat and censorship faced by press cartoonists on digital platforms. It follows on from the Report on the situation of threatened cartoonists around the world: “Cartoonists on the line” (2020-2022) The publication of this report is part of a project supported by the Global Media Defence Fund (GMDF) of UNESCO and by the CFC, aimed at documenting and highlighting the threats faced by press cartoonists. The report will be unveiled exclusively at the Festival International du Dessin de Presse et des Médias ÇA PRESSE in Lyon on March 5 (in French), 2026, in the presence of Cartooning for Peace, Cartoonists Rights, and Reporters Without Borders. It will be available in digital format on the websites of Cartooning for Peace and Cartoonists Rights.
