de Ser Ator, Leslie Nielsen foi disc-jóquei e locutor de Rádio. Ficou
Conhecido em Seriados de TV, entre os quais Bonanza e Dr. Kildare. Seu
1º. Trabalho no Cinema foi em "Forbidden Planet" (1956), ficção
Cientifica. Depois fez vários dramas.
Só
aos 54 anos foi Descoberto como Comediante quando Interpretou o Dr.
Rumak em "Apertem os cintos... o Piloto Sumiu" (Airplane!) (1980).
Depois vieram os Sucessos da Série "Corra que a policia vem aí" (Naked Gun: From the files of polic Squad) (1988).
